Roasted Chickpeas

Elevate your hummus/chummus plate (or how to keep it simple!) with roasted chickpeas.

Chummus plates are a great item to serve as an appetizer, or on the table alongside the appetizer.

Dressing up the traditional chummus plate is a great idea as well. Read our post on how to plate your hummus (+ 2 more toppings!).

It doesn’t take much but it does make a huge difference.

Toss chickpeas with seasonings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Roasted Chickpeas

Ingredients

  • 1 can chickpeas, drained. We love Goya brand
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp onion flakes
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  • Toss chickpeas with seasonings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake at 425°F for 25 minutes.
  • Add the roasted chickpeas to your chummus served the “simple” way (with olive oil, parsley, and paprika).
