Chanukah Scratch Off Game Variations

If you loved our Chanukah Scratch Off Games, you’ll love to play these two new versions.

Last year when we posted this Scratch Off Game, it was a huge hit. Lots of you played and we received so many comments and feedback on how easy it was to set up and enjoyable it was to play. Bonus: It worked for both large Chanukah parties and at home with just your immediate family.

So, we wanted to give you another version to play, so you can bring back the Scratch Off concept, with a new twist!

When Pessy Z. shared with us how she does something similar with Scratch Off’s each year and it’s so much fun that her family looks forward to it every Chanukah. When she showed me the photo of it, I knew we would have to add it to the BCP Chanukah game list.

It’s a simple game but creates lots of laughs for everyone.

First you print out these downloads we prepared for you here. Cut them out and hand each member a blank one.

Each person fills out four different favors that they are willing to do for another person. Be fun and creative.

Next, cover all 4 circles with a scratch off sticker. Place all the completed and covered strips in the center, and then everyone choose a different persons strip and the game begins!

Starting with the youngest, go around the table and each person spins the dreidel. They get to scratch off the letter that they spun. and reveal what favor or gift they will receive from the person who wrote it.

The best part is then checking all the things you could’ve gotten (of course!)

You can use this game in lots of other creative ways, like teacher privileges, etc…

VARIATION #2

We call this one: What. When. Where.

This Chanukah game was inspired by Lottery Scratch Off Cards!

Start by downloading this game board.

This one requires a little bit of spontaneous thinking.

You fill out each row with 4 options. “What” is the DARE – what will you make them do? “When” is the time they need to do it. It could be right now or sometime in the future. And, of course, “Where” is a place. Make it funny!

Cover with stickers.

And then each person has a chance to spin the driedels and scratch off to reveal what they are tasked to do.

You can print out multiples of each board so each person gets their own, or keep using the same board over even if some are already scratched off.
