You’re in a store, and you spot a really cute skirt on the final sale rack. It looks long enough, but you need to know for sure. And there’s no way you’re getting your daughter back here to try it on. You really need a ruler. But who carries a ruler in their purse?
For that matter, how often do we need to measure something, even when we’re at home, but there isn’t a ruler to be found?
No worries. You can find that ruler in your purse…you just didn’t realize it’s your dollar bills.
A dollar bill is 6 inches long. If you have two dollar bills available, there you have your foot! Need smaller increments? A quarter is 1 inch.
Now you’re going to say that you never carry cash. We can’t really help you there. A standard credit card is 3.370 × 2.125 inches…not such a help.
