The Best Way to Cut an Apple for School Snack

Keep that apple crisp and white and prevent browning with this cool technique

Sure, we want to send healthy snacks along with our kids to school. And apples are the kind of snack kids and mom both love. Most kids, though, prefer their apple sliced…and sliced apples won’t  last until snack-time without browning. Now you can slice you apple for your kids…and it’ll stay fresh and white ‘til snacktime. Add a dash of lemon juice (or lemon juice diluted with water) to the surface of your apple slices for an even longer shelf-life.

I put a rubber band around it too, to keep it tighter together and whiter longer.
