Teeth brushing used to be a chore. Now, it’s an activity that my boys actually look forward to thanks to Brite Brush. And it doesn’t need to be connected to a phone or a iPad or ANYTHING!
Brushing teeth and making it into a habit is not something that I would call easy. Most days I need to remind, encourage, and ask (beg?) my children to do it. I have tried many different ways, using exciting toothbrushes that came with different features. They were all fun and interactive but, they all needed to be connected via Bluetooth to a phone or ipad. And you know what that means: using mommy’s phone to brush our teeth. That didn’t sit well with me, even though I did try it at one point for the sake of teeth hygiene (afterwards, feeling silly for having spent lots of $ on a gadget).

One day, one of our readers emailed us, sharing her love of the BriteBrush™ (we love our readers! And yes, we love your ideas and suggestions) she wrote: “Since we, as parents, are always trying to figure out how to get our kids to consistently brush their teeth, whenever I come up with a new idea I get excited imagining all the money I’m saving on dental bills!”
This one is really a lot of fun.
It’s entirely battery operated. It comes with seven fun games with different levels that kids play while they’re brushing. There’s no need for any extra accessories. There is also an Elmo version for toddlers.
So, I bought one. I didn’t really think that my kids would love it, but a toothbrush is a toothbrush and it’s worth a try.
(Plus, this one was actually well-price, at $8 and $11, it’s not much more than a regular kiddie electric toothbrush).

I was really pleasantly surprised by how much my boys (yup, boys. Ages 8 and 3 ½ ) now love the toothbrushing part of their bedtime routine.
We even printed these habit tracking charts again and are proudly filling up the dots week by week. And it’s not too hard now.
Somehow, the kids also love the rinsing teeth part, not sure why that is.

is the elmo toothbrush ok for all ages?
Yes, I believe so.
My kids have this and LOVE it!
I just got these toothbrushes today! My son who hates brushing, brushed like never before! Thank you!
I read this and said for a few bucks it’s worth the try! Wow!! My kids really love it!! Best invention ever! Thanks for the amazing lead!
Same here and boy! Was totally worth it! All my kids LOVE this toothbrush! Thank you BCP!
Till what age is this appropriate?
Lol my teenager brought it to camp and she said it was so much fun!
It’s out of stock. Any other places to buy it?
The Original is Currently unavailable. The other 2 are in stock and they just differ in their number of games.
I just want to point out that I ordered 2 brushes. They were absolutely amazing in the beginning. Then one stopped working, so I thought it must need new batteries, but I didn’t get around to replacing. Then the next stopped working. Then life got busy (new baby etc.). When I finally changed the batteries, they still didn’t work. Both broken within 2 months of purchase. I reached out to Amazon and seller… unsurprisingly, the seller has left Amazon. Seems this is a real issue.
