No need to rush anywhere. Pull out a fresh activity book and the kids will be busy.
UPDATED FOR 2024. Midwinter break is almost here, and although we hope to enjoy some out-of-the-house fun, there’s always those times when mom needs the kids to be happy and entertained at home (think: Erev Shabbos…or when mom needs to get some work done…or simply cook supper!). These activity books will give you that hour or two (or 10 minutes!) that you need. They’re also a great incentive to finish homework (homework is done, the fun books come out), or bring them out on a cold rainy Sunday afternoon when you want a fun and fresh activity. You can see how we made an Activity Book Center in this post.
Younger children can keep busy with simple paper and crayons. But they’ll be even more thrilled (and stay busier for longer) with some new special activities.
I ordered all the workbooks and activity books. They are fantastic, even my teenagers loved them! Ty! They are keeping us busy under quarantine!
Also great for Ages 8-12 is Draw It! Color It! Creatures… Great Activity book for aspiring authors, illustrators and storytellers.
Super fun, creative and educational!
I recently got a color by number book that kept my kids busy for hours. It’s these tiny little squares so you only see the picture once it’s completed. It was a lot of fun!
I love this roundup I’ll be ordering a few of these iyH! Thank you!
Chana Voola/s books on Amazon! Many Jewish themed coloring and activity books for all ages!!!

We just ordered the first one listed, Ultimate Puzzle Challenge and my 8 year old daughter absolutely loves it! The activities are different, creative, not boring and the perfect balance of challenge but not too difficult. Kept her busy for hours so far. It’s so hard to tell online if a workbook will be good so thanks so much for the recommendation! Another BCP win 🙂
