It’s pretty, festive, and so easy to recreate this table.
Last year, Devorah Rubin from Adorn Your Table got really creative and created this unique and beautiful Purim Table Setting.
And this year, we were happy to have her back…because she really gives us great ideas on how to bring in color and make it fun–while still keeping things elegant.
And if you want more Purim Table Setting ideas, you can also see this table which is very regal and on theme.
Ok, now, let’s get this table ready.
First–let’s start with the tablecloth. It’s the Slate Velvet Tablecloth from Adorn–it’s a pretty dusty blue shade that’s really very versatile–it’s a color that works for an elegant or a casual table, for evening or daytime. This gets lots of use and it’s perfect for those not-only-Shabbos times that we’re hosting. Of course, you can use your own tablecloth, even a white one, and this table will still sparkle.
Now for the main event–the centerpiece! Did you ever think that candy could look so beautiful? Simple apothecary jars filled with pastel-colored candies, including this glittering rock candy, does the trick.
Devorah added some velvet ribbon trimmed with gem stickers. You’ll see this ribbon and the stickers get lots of use on this table–the thin version of the ribbon will also become our napkins rings below.
Those little gems are the little trick that adds the special details to this table without a lot of expense.
Devorah also used the gems to dress up the disposable stemware! So fun.
Let the kids apply the stickers; they’ll love the job!
And, finally, our place setting–so many nice colors work with blue, but this one is Rose Gold inspired (the pink is a great complementary color–and it really looks nice because there’s also lots of pink candy) with a Blush Dinner Plate + Transparent Rose Pink Appetizer Plate + Stemmed Wine Cup + Clean Modern Cutlery.
Purim Sameach!

This is so creative and fun!
I always love looking at these for fun, even though I know I’ll probably never do it myself, as ‘eye candy’ 🙂

Just make sure to buy lots of extra of the displayed candy so no kids will have any reason to open up the centerpieces!
