Some of our favorite recipes aren’t recipes at all. They’re just components that you can pull together to make a really magnificent dish. All you need to actually “do” is have them on hand and assemble!

Shredded Red Cabbage

Optional, omit when serving with meat. This ingredient is what makes it a great salad for when serving for shalosh seudos. Drain oil.

Dress this salad with a store-bought maple balsamic vinaigrette or make your own! Combine 3 Tbsp olive oil + 2 Tbsp maple syrup + 1 Tbsp balsamic vinegar + 1 tsp Dijon mustard + 1/2 tsp salt + dash pepper.
