Sometimes all you need is a fun plate to reinvent family favorite dinner.
When I was hosting some friends last year Chanukah, I included tacos on my menu because tacos are a crowd favorite, especially when kids are present. The tacos can be customized to each person’s taste and therefore, it makes for a great party food option.
I imagined my guest helping themselves at my tacos buffet and wondered how they would fill the tacos while holding a plate, standing, in front of all the options.
I decided I needed individual taco holders or stands.

Naturally, I turned to good old Amazon, and guess what, I found something even better. A plate that holds the tacos! Not only that, but it also holds the extra salad and dips that come along with it.

The taco plates arrived the very next day and they were the highlight of the party–even the kids who “don’t eat tacos” gave tacos a try because now it was super fun and it felt like an activity.

In the images here you can see that we showcased the Grilled Fish Tacos from Dinner Done 2, page 168 (it’s a fantastic recipe and you should try it!) but if your family isn’t into fish, we have many ideas for you.

Ever tried these Creamy Chicken Tacos? They are so popular, many families have them on their families rotation.
You can fill tacos with this classic and never boring Shredded Beef and do not skip the Mango Salsa because it adds so much and now you have a plate that can handle it too.
Another great dairy option are these Refried Bean Tacos by Chanie Apfelbaum.
I can see myself preparing the Shawarma Sheet Pan Chicken for such an occasion, with the chickpeas, cauliflower, Israeli salad, techina…all fun toppings, the more the merrier!
The Charred Chicken Wraps on page 98 in Dinner Done 2 are a family favorite too, you can make it with different types of chicken, grilled or even fried schnitzel for the picky eaters.
Another great option would be the Slow Cooker Pulled Beef Dinner Done (the first one) page 136. You can make it in a 9×13, cook it all day, and come home to ready-to-pull meat.

Whichever you choose, your taco menu will be a hit!
