I’m happy to recommend this one over and over again.
I remember when my last urn broke. I wasn’t jumping in to commit to a new one until I found one that had the features that I wanted. I looked at what other people used. I asked questions about what they liked and didn’t like.
One feature that was most important to me, for safety reasons, was that the urn should have a flat bottom, not legs.
Finally, I stopped into Kitchen Clique and came home with this stainless steel Hot Water Urn from Classic Kitchen.
Now–this beautiful version with black trim–is available at the same price as the original version for a limited time exclusively through Kitchen Clique. It’s so sleek!
I love that it’s a Jewish-made product so (besides for no toiveling necessary), it has separate modes for Shabbos and Yom Tov. You can refill the water on Yom Tov without any lights flashing while it’s reboiling. A gauge on the outside tells you how full it is so there’s no guessing.
Plus, the safety features that were most important to me are all there–the sturdiness and the ability to lock the spout so small children can’t access.
It’s important to know that the company 100% stands behind their product. When I had one issue with my first urn, I called them, and they sent a replacement immediately–it was at my door the next day!
Since then, I’ve bought a few more (for Pesach, gifts) and the experience has been perfect.
Bonus: This urn is a good height–it will also fit under most upper cabinets (but not all). It’s 17 inches tall so you can see ahead of time if it will fit under yours.
The urn is made from the same company that has brought you more innovations for Jewish life–like the best Shabbos Lite ever. My kids love these. You’ll find the tabletop version here and the clip on version here (so handy). They’re sleek and efficient with LED lighting and bendable arm, so you can move the light to where it’s needed.

Thanks for this recommendation, I am looking for an urn. My biggest issue with urns is how long they last. I’ve had so many start to leak after a year or so. How long does this one hold up? TY!

Now I’ve had it for almost two years and so far so good!

Great to know, thanks!

I have had this urn for a while now. The only downside is the spout is half way up the urn and needs to be refilled while the urn still has plenty of water inside.

Never had an issue with this because I don’t usually use up the water. And if it was lower, it would be too low to fit a cup comfortably.
