Use it as an incentive for your kids to finish their pre-Pesach jobs or encourage involvement at the Seder.
Last year, we discovered that the talented Yael Miller from Miller Creative also has a talented brother when she showed us this adorable Pesach money download he drew. Artist Yoshi Weiss is a staff artist for Merkaz HaDaf in Eretz Yisrael and he graciously shared them with BCP readers.
When we saw them, this was our reaction:
Victoria: I love the money! When my kids were younger (and needed motivation) we gave out “Pesach pounds” at the Seder when they contributed – they cashed in for prizes.
Esti: The money is fun! We just toss chocolates at them.
There’s two main uses for this money. Yoshi’s original intention was to use ahead of Pesach to help motivate kids to help out with pre-Pesach tasks, and then cash in later for their afikoman prizes. So you can totally print, download, and start rewarding.
Or, you can use them at the actual seder to motivate kids to prepare their dvrei Torah and share! You won’t believe how eager they will be to participate!
You can let them cash in that Pesach money on Chol Hamoed–make it a special outing.
