Updated! Forget Folding Chairs. Bring Out These Stackable Chairs When You Have Guests.

Don’t like the look of folding chairs? You can get some sleek stackable chairs to use instead when entertaining.

Editor’s Note: Since this post was first featured three years ago, we received a lot of personal feedback from people who have been enjoying having pretty, stackable chairs to use when hosting guests. Now, with the entertaining season coming up, we’ve updated the post for this season with some new picks, or new sources for previous picks.

Yes, there’s an alternative to folding chairs! Folding chairs might fit well in your closet, but you know you never quite like how they look around your table.

Here are a selection of chairs that work instead. Since they’re stackable, they’re easy to store. They’re also contemporary, nice looking, and well-priced. A few coordinate with lots of types of décor.

I personally pull out my stack of ballroom chairs when entertaining and I really like how it always looks as if I’ve rented chairs–when they’re simply my go-to instead of folding chairs.

$35 EACH

Farmhouse Dining Stackable Chairs

Hi Anonymous. I double checked all links and they are all available. The children’s chairs are the only one which are not still available at the price that it was at when I originally wrote this article.

Make sure your shipping address is USA. Mine was to Israel and showed up as unavailable. I switched it to a city in America and it immediately became available.

All are unavailable for me too. I think it might depend on where your shipping location is and availability is based off of that.

Thank you for this post! Have you tried out the acrylic chairs with the gold legs for $30? There are only 2 ratings on Amazon, no reviews, and $50 shipping, so I want to make sure it’s been tried before ordering. Thank you so much!

Hi! They’re a new addition to this post, so we don’t have feedback on them yet.
