In an ideal world, we’d all love playing Monopoly and Risk. In reality, there’s a handful of games we don’t mind playing on a cold Friday night.
If your kids are happy to play board or card games by themselves, you’re lucky. If they want you to join, you need to know which games to pick. This is a roundup of the ones we don’t mind playing – and might even enjoy, too!
And if you’re looking for more game recommendations, we have some board games here and card games here. If you have lots of card games in your house, you’ll want to check out how we store them.

I am not sure if bananagrams is permissible for Shabbos . Check with your local rabbi.

Thanks for the recommendations! Pekelach is a great jewish game (similar to banana split) you have to use strategy so i enjoy playing it. Blink is a great card game that takes minutes to play each round so its great for anytime with mommy and i can stop whenever i need to.

Does anyone know the difference between the Century:Golem games? Are there just different game pieces or are the rules/versions of the games different?
