How to Make Cold Rice Taste Like Fresh

There’s nothing like a fresh pot of rice. But leftover rice? Nah. Give your rice new life with this hack.

You made too much rice. Now what?

What do you do with leftover, cold day-old rice? You can easily warm it up with some teriyaki sauce (for those who are crazy about everything teriyaki) or make fried rice (we have a great recipe in Dinner Done!)

But what about those who want rice, plain white with nothing in it?

This is the best way we’ve found to warm it up.

Drizzle a drop of water over the rice.

Generously wet a paper towel with water. Place the wet paper towel over the container or bowl of rice.

Place in the microwave and heat until the rice is completely warm. Time will differ depending on the quantity of rice. Fluff with a fork and enjoy!

I warm up rice daily for my daughter. Dont have a microwave, so I
Just pour some water over the rice in a foil container and
Heat up in oven for 10 minutes. Good as new!!
