It’s simple and classic, inspired by the reds and golds of the honey and apple.
You don’t want gimmicks or shtick or arts and crafts. You want to use a white tablecloth. But you do want everything to come together and look coordinated and beautiful.
Over the years, we’ve posted lots of Yom Tov tables that we love. There was this Rosh Hashanah-themed sheva brachos that is still so timeless (thank you Shevy!). There was this Succos table with neutral tones. And then there’s the Seder tables like this one which can work just as well for any Yom Tov.
It doesn’t have to be complicated or have a lot of “stuff” to look beautiful. Like this here in this table set by Devorah Rubin from Adorn. It’s really just the elements that you need–the things that will be there anyway–that just work together.
If you will be using disposables, choose a color that can be your themed. These new neutrals from Luxe Party remind us of honey and fall–they’re just such pretty shades. Find the Rosewood dishes here and our all time favorite color Linen dishes here. The linen color complements everything. Other new beautiful fall colors include shades of Latte (a deep brown), Clay (a muted orange), Taupe (always a fav), and Truffle (a rich, chocolate color).
BCP Readers can always use code BCP15 for 15% off anything at Luxe Party.
And, yes, even if you’re adding some color, a traditional white cloth, like this “Sky” Cloth with embroidered circles from Adorn, is perfect. You can also go with an off-white/beige cloth.
The place setting is complete with clean, elegant clear goblets and clean, modern gold flatware. These are all disposable.
Now about these vases. H&M. Yup. $31.99 and $36.99. The yellow-toned teardrop shaped vase is here. And the large ribbed vase (available in both beige and transparent) is here. Who would ever think? And so, so gorgeous. Breathtaking actually. If you have the vases we posted on this table this past Pesach, the beige-toned ones will coordinate perfectly. Mix and match them (and choose warm colors when willing them!). The candlesticks are available over here and they’re super pretty in person–they go so well with the vases too!.
Yes, you can use any honey jars at your place settings because honey itself ties everything together (as do apples). These are available on Amazon and we like that they also come in brown/amber glass.
