At a recent Between Carpools meeting, a colleague started jotting notes in her notebook that looked pretty standard. Then she started erasing – even though she’d been writing with a pen. Hmmm. Turns out she wasn’t just using an erasable pen, but she was actually writing in a Rocketbook.
These notebooks have a QR code on each page and with the downloadable app, they can instantly organize and store your notes! Just scan the page with a phone or tablet using the free app and it can email your notes to you – fully transcribed (not Hebrew letters)!
There are so many ways we can think of using these: jot your grocery list and email it fully transcribed to the grocery store. Scribble notes in a meeting and easily email them to all attendees. Take notes in class and share them with friends easily via email or text. Scan the pictures your little ones make and share with all the grandmas and great-aunts instantly. Of course, you can do that with a camera and email, too, but the organization of these notes is a bonus that is just so easy to use. And really it’s just a lot of fun.
While maybe not really necessary, we just couldn’t get over how cool this notebook is so we ordered a couple for ourselves to try out. We’re hooked!
There are a couple of different types of notebooks. The Everlast notebooks can be erased like a dry erase board and reused again and again. This was our personal preference.
The Fusion edition has several different page types, including a calendar view and planner pages.
The Wave book can be put in the microwave and all the contents are erased in one go! This can be done up to five times and seems like something a tween would love.
And then we found this kids’ version that looks like so much fun for the little artists!
And check out these mini versions for a great small gift item!
