Sometimes, we get excited by such small nonsense.
In this case, it is a harmless new sport, a trending vice, a way to cool off in this hot hot summer weather. Like making ice.
Only difference is, this post is no joke.
Who doesn’t like ball ice? The answer: nobody.
Everyone loves ice in cool shapes that are also pretty and elegant and also fun to suck on.
When one of us (cannot remember who it was, anymore) introduced this ice tray thing, we all went a bit crazy. We still derive immense pleasure from filling the trays up, the novelty hasn’t worn off.
So what is so special about this ice tray?
Well, the perfect spheres of course. Going in you don’t really expect for it to work, at all. But then, it works, and really well, we might add.
So, step one, order these here. And once they arrive, get moving.
You want these in your freezer pronto.
Fill in until the fill in line with water.
Top with the other half, if some droplets of water come out through the holes, you did good. It means that the spheres are filled to capacity.
Press down well and place in the freezer. You don’t want to layer them in the container that they came in for the freezing part, that will take too long for them to properly freeze. Just place them in the freezer in different spots.
Once frozen, turn the tray over (holes in the bottom) and twist to loosen up.
The ice will be ready to be placed in the container that comes with this set.
Once you get the hang of it, go ahead and have fun with it.
You can make ice out of lemonade for a refreshing drink.
or make ice out of brewed coffee
so that your ice coffee doesn’t get diluted with regular ice.
Or , simply add cold milk to the frozen coffee balls,
for a refreshing drink.
