Small Things That Elevate Your Yom Tov Table

Often, it’s one new item that makes it exciting to set your table again.

I love setting up a beautiful table, but I also get bored fast of the items that I own and of always having the same look. Sometimes you want something new and different, while at the same time you don’t want too much more stuff to store away later.

So, what’s the solution?

Play around with adding some new element–it can even be something small, and all of a sudden, it’s all fresh again.

Now is the perfect time to think about your Yom Tov table. Before the rush, before you are knee-deep in Windex and Clorox. Or potato peels

Here are a few of my favorites that I have my eye on now.

Beverage Glasses

Gorgeous glasses that add a pop of color to your table. Perfect for that chol hamoed brunch.

Scalloped Plate

Love this scalloped plate so much (and the entire set) but this is a great addition to any table. Think dessert, or even…. Karpas!

Small Scalloped Plate

This is a even smaller version perfect for the karpas.

Porcelain Serving Bowls

You can always use more bowls like these. Think coleslaw, salt water, charoses… cucumber salad… the list is endless.

Porcelain Mini Plate

The perfect small plate to have on hand at the seder for serving the karpas or individual servings of maror.

Glass Carafe

Water or grape juice, these are so elegant  and really cheap. But not cheap looking.

Glass Mugs

Love these mugs.

Floral Print Cotton Cloth

Gorgeous cloth for that chol hamoed  breakfast.

Flower Embroidered Linen Napkins

These napkins are so pretty, they’re a beautiful addition for your Yom Tov table.

Napkin Holder

Cute napkin holder.

Spring Placemats

Such a pretty way to cover your matzos.

Stella Oval Serving Platter

You will need lots of platters. We know. Between meats and cut cake being served, a platter always comes handy. This one is plastic but it looks great.

Floral Earthenware Serving Dish

This tray is so pretty and versatile. I personally own it in the blue and in the green. I find it works well with all table settings. Its perfect for that roast that needs a bit of oomph.

You will notice we used it many times in the website, like for example in these amazing Seder Night Flanken.

Oval Wooden Tray

This tray is a great way to serve cut up veggies for brunch on chol hamoed.

Mendocino Serving Platter

This platter is the perfect size to serve a flanken roast or a sliced roast. Its heavy, made out of stoneware, but has a pretty look that is organic but still works well with more traditional dishes.

When it comes to Pesach, you need lots of platters!

Smoked Stacking Double Old Fashioned

Need a pretty way to serve your homemade compote or ice cream? Look no further. These are great, sturdy (think kids) and, most importantly, they stack!! Yes.

Eve Coupe Glasses

These are still a favorite (see them in this post and yes, also try the recipe because it’s fantastic) but, beware, they do take up a lot of room in the cabinet.

Clear Glass Ribbed Vase

We spoke about these vases last year, and we are still obsessed with them. They somehow hold flowers really well, meaning, it’s easy to make a bunch of tulips look great in here. Or any bouquet for that matter.

Oval Glass Vase

This oval version is great as well. Not quite sure which one I like best, to honest.

Taper Glass Candlesticks

Add these to your table with the seder candles for a gorgeous effect.

in thirteen colors!

Amber Wine Glasses

These glasses are pretty and will add  a pop of color to your table.
