We love these serving bowls so much, they deserve a post all on their own.
When we first discovered these Dowan Pasta Bowls, we didn’t realize how popular they’d actually become. After all…it’s a bowl.
But when we started using them, pulling them out mostly on a daily basis, we realized that they’re simply so perfect.
They’re pretty, the low sides are great because they don’t overtake the table but they still fit a large salad. Low sides are great because they’re forgiving. If you have a smaller salad, it doesn’t look empty.
They’re a great weekday size for serving just about anything, and they also get lots and lots of use on Shabbos too (if you use yours for fleishig).
Esti says, “I love that they stack neatly in the cabinet. Plus, they dress up or down–French fries at a BBQ, rice at the dinner table, cholent on Shabbos day, or a nice leafy salad. And they go right into the dishwasher.”
We use them for the leafy salad when it’s just our family, or the chopped salad and this Outrageous Tropical Fruit Salad when we’re serving a crowd (chopped salads usually don’t fit a larger bowl). It’s just the perfect, perfect bowl and the perfect size. You can also throw it into the microwave if you’re warming up dinner. They’re even oven safe too!
