The best of summer fruit pairs perfectly with pecans and oats in this summery crumble.
In Best of Kosher, Rivky Kleiman shared her popular Warm Vanilla Apple Crumble. What sets it apart? The secret is in the crumb — made extra special with vanilla pudding mix.
Last summer, I got a message from Faigy Zoberman. She told me how much she loves that recipe but decided to give it a summer twist adapting the crumb mixture and summer filling.

The beauty of an apple crumble (or any crumble, really) is that it’s hard to mess up — more fruit, extra crumb, it somehow always works. With Faigy’s voice notes guiding us through her version, we set out to recreate this peach and pecan version.
And just like that, the perfect summer crumble was born.
Make sure to choose fruit that tastes sweet and delicious to begin with!

Toss the apples and peaches together.

Drizzle with maple syrup (just a little!) and mix to combine.

Top the fruit with crumble.

It’s ready to bake.
Enjoy!

Notes

how can i know if it tastes good?
Taste a piece 🙂
lol what type of question is that? make it and see 🙂
Sounds delicious! Can I sub oil for the margarine?
Vanilla pudding means 1/2 of a dry package of powder?
yes
Does it freeze well?
Instant or regular vanilla pudding? And can I use a different apple? The Granny Smiths tend to be sour.
What’s with the margarine lately ? So not BCP style
