Drumettes I think are a fancy way of saying pulka…:)

No, I think they’re something else- the meaty half of a chicken wing that looks like a mini pulke when separated. You might be able to use pulkes but they’re larger and therefore probably have a longer cooking time.

Yes. You can use regular drumsticks instead you might wanna increase the time a drop!

whats silan? what else can i use?

Silan is date syrup. You can try maple syrup; it can be used as a one-for-one substitute.

I received this cookbook as a Chanukah gift and have made this twice already. I used both thighs and drumsticks and it baked beautifully. It has been a hit with adults and children alike. Chicken is succulent and so tasty! Try it!

how would i bake it if i want to use chicken cutlets instead of the chicken drumettes?

I don’t think you’ll end up with moist chicken because the potatoes will take much longer to cook than the chicken, don’t recommend using chicken cutlets here… you can use pargiot tho!

How much cooking time would this need for regular chicken bottoms? Thanks

Are the potatoes supposed to be peeled first?

Delicious! I didn’t have allspice or turmeric so I skipped and added 1/2 t of chili powder. I also added some fresh green beans to the pan and it all came out perfect. Would make again!
