The complete chicken dinner that literally takes two minutes of prep and cooks without you.
This is the kind of dinner that takes just seconds in the morning. It’s perfect for those days that you need to rush out the door and need to come home to something that’s just ready.
We combined all the sauce ingredients in a container the night before so it truly only needs a few seconds of morning prep.

Don’t forget this garlic hack if you don’t like to constantly be pulling out your garlic press.

Our sauce is going into the fridge. Now we’re all set for the morning.

Then, all we need to do is add the chicken to the Crock-Pot.

Add the sauce.

And run. This will be ready in 4 hours, but it’s fine to leave it for up to 7 hours.
Serve this with rice (we had some frozen, of course) and broccoli and the easiest ever meal comes together.
Crock-Pot Sesame Chicken Thighs

- 2 tbsp crushed fresh garlic
- ½ tbsp sesame seeds
Instructions
- In a container, combine all sauce ingredients.
- Add chicken thighs to a Crock-Pot. Add sauce ingredients. Cook on low for at least 4 or up to 7 hours. You can also cook on a higher setting for 4 hours to attain that crispiness you see pictured.

can i make this recipe in the oven? need it to be ready in an hour 🙂
This looks yum! Definitely will be trying it! And for whoever asked, I’m sure you can do it in the oven too!
And don’t forget the Crock-Pot bag, to make cleanup a breeze!!
Can I do this with boneless thighs?
can i use chicken brerast
Better yet, prepare it all the night before in the crock pot insert, put it in the fridge, and pop it into the crock pot in the morning
I always prepare the night before. Pull out in the morning before work. Ta da
Could tomato sauce or something replace the ketchup? Thanks!
can i use skinned chicken thighs? we dont like cooking with skin on
is there a way to do this from frozen.
any way to add rice or potatos to the crockpot?
please answer if we can use chicken breasts fjor this recipe
made this todsy it was wonderful! such a hit and the chicken was perfectly moist and soft ! loved!
I followed the instructions exactly & the chicken pieces were RAW. Any way this can be rectified please?
Try doing the crockpot on High. Get to know your slowcooker. Mine needs the high for these crockpot dinners to be ready after about 5 hours, low won’t cook as well.
Would love to hear if anyone made this together with potatoes?
I made it in the oven and it was delicious, but less glaze-like as it looks in the picture, and more of a liquidy sauce.
I just did it in the oven at 350 for 1 1/2-2 hours, uncovered, and every now and then I basted the chicken again and got the yummy stickiness…
very easy and delicious! i used frozen chicken and came out good.
