I threw out 10 cookbooks and the only one I use every night is Dinner Done 2. I was an avid hater of cookbooks because they were so complicated and not meant for working moms. DD2 became a staple. I made every chicken recipe and most sides. I love the easy chicken soup with couscous and the corn on the cob is a real favorite. All in all each recipe is a crowd pleaser and definitely make them in repeat.

I have so many things that I use from your website and cookbooks!! The chocolate chip bars, 9×13 ziti, and roasted red onions are recipes I make all the time! But my favorite hack is using the labelmaker to label foods in the freezer so I can see and access what I have so easily! I even bought labelmakers as gifts for my sister and friend and they were so excited too!! Keep up the great work!

Let me start by saying that you guys are my Rebbes. I follow what you say without any question in my mind. People laugh at me when I say that BCP is my “Da’as Torah”, but I am not joking. Literally any recipe I try from BCP has a certain wisdom that makes it just incapable of messing up. Your articles on parenting and relationships are spot on. I feel like you guys just are in tune with every Jewish hectic mother and you bring out that joy of living this hectic geshmake Jewish life. You show us how to make life fun, yummy, enjoyable, down to earth, and spiritual. I hope for you guys to continue doing this for many many years – inspiring and uplifting us women and mothers out there, until the coming of Moshiach BEH!! You guys hold a really special place in my life! Thanks for doing this!! <3

BCP is the equivalent of everyone’s favorite big sister with endless advice and experience. Thank you for helping through some major transitions in life – from getting married to becoming a mom, BCP is there for all. Favorite recipes are the schnitzel recipes in DD1 and DD2 and the one pot pastas. The Sheva Brachos salad in DD2 is a recent favorite that’s been on repeat. Best hacks are the thorough to do lists. Here’s to another 10 years (and more) of continued sharing and inspiring.

And it’s not just the recipes! Whenever I need a gift idea, BCP is where I turn — whether it’s something for my husband to give me or a gift I’m looking for for someone else. There’s always something beautiful and thoughtful to find.

The glazed BBQ chicken from Dinner Done 2 has become a staple! I like to prepare large raw portions in advance and freeze it in the rub.
One of my favorite BCP kitchen hacks are freezing ground meat in ziploc bags and flattening it. This makes it so easy and quick to defrost!

Omg , when ever we have a really good new supper my family assumes it must be from dinner done. My Cholent each week used to be so inconsistent until I started using your parve cholent recipe I swap out some oil and add meat and bones but now I always have a cholent that is a winner . And of course all your 9×13 recipes especially the poppers ! Regarding tips / hacks so many but not freezing chicken or meat unless prepared (marinated , breaded) has been a real game changer. Your parenting post also always spot on . Thanks!

So many hacks have simply become part of how I do things that I had to take time to think about it. One that comes to mind is the piping bag – using a double bag. Such an easy and perfect hack.

I could go on and on and on about how much your work means to me as a busy mother. To have simple delicious suppers, saving us time while still having yummy food is beyond! There really are no words to thank you all, and I am sure you are getting a lot of schar for what you do. Personally, there are soo many recipes I make from you. These are just some off the top of my head. I make the one pan poppers all the time. I make the corn ribs, various grilled chicken recipes, garlic schnitzel mixed in a bag, smoked paprika schnitzel, oatmeal squares, pulled beef, sandwich steak sandwiches, quinoa with feta and grilled vegetables, kale salad with the crispy panko, whole wheat muffins, potatoes with smoked paprika and brown sugar, cornflake chicken with the sweet chili in the marinade, the schwarma chicken, chickpeas, and cauliflower sheet pan, very quick pulled chicken (onions, bbq sauce, crockpot (i personally bake in the oven). I bake my quinoa in the oven which I learned from your post about baking grains in the oven. I can go on and on but these are literally off the top of my head and on rotation all the time. Thank you so much!! You should be g’bentched!

Almost everything I cook is from BCP and Dinner Done. So many household tasks streamlined thanks to your advice and hacks. To name a few: chocolate chip sticks for sure, Yussi Weisz’s cole slaw, lotus cannolis – so easy and so delicious, crumbs, cream and coulis when I need something elegant, the plum torte is delish and always get requests for the recipe, my personal favorite is the sticky chickpea salad from Dinner Done 2 minus the feta with grilled chicken (you have two grilled chicken recipes in the book – the one on the left side of the page with silan works perfectly with the salad). Hacks are too many to share but am so grateful for them all!!
