The menu is the hardest part! You may be an old pro at making a meat menu, but perhaps now you’re trying to plan beautiful, balanced, and filling dairy meals.
Every family is different, and there will never be one menu that works for all (or one menu that works for even two families!). Some families need to keep things family-friendly, some want dishes that are more gourmet, and then there’s lots of us that need a combination of both types of dishes.
Dairy menus in particular often get cooks stumped. You want it to be filling, yet also somewhat healthy and not too heavy.
Long menus can get confusing to change and adapt to suit your family. That’s why these short menus work. Choose one as a starting point. Add a dessert (if it doesn’t recommend one).
Add a second main, a pasta, another salad, or a kid-friendly basic….whatever you feel is missing! Family doesn’t like fish? Swap it out for another pasta or a fun item, like Avocado Toast (add the egg for protein!).
Once you have a “base,” it’s easy to change and adapt. We’ve built these menus so it’s easy to add and subtract. They’re the foundations you can use to inspire your menu and simply make it easier to plan.
